Гонадо-надпочечниковые изменения у спортсменок-ветеранов при мышечной деятельности

2013
The article presents the changes in the concentration of gonadotropins, estrogens and glucocorticoids in the blood during the menstrual cycle (MC) in 40–45-year-old veteran sportswomen doing physical work of various intensity. The level of estrogens during the ovulation phase is reduced, while that of the follicle-stimulating and luteinizing hormones is increased. Reduction in cortisol levels was observed, which can indicate a high degree of resistance to stress. The body response to the work of various intensity depended on the initial values of estradiol in the blood. 72% of veteran athletes did not have ovulatory phases of MC.
