The present invention provides a method for making the super-capacitor electrode material containing cadmium sulfide. 0.01 ~ 0.05mmol cadmium acetate and thiourea was dissolved in 0.05 ~ 0.10mmol container containing 50mL of distilled water was added dropwise a white flocculent precipitate of ammonia, aqueous ammonia was added dropwise until the precipitate was dissolved continues, foamed nickel was placed when the bottom of the container in a water bath at 80 ~ 85 ℃, the reaction 25 ~ 35min, cooled to room temperature, remove the foamed nickel substrate, a clean with distilled water and dried in vacuo at 60 ℃, i.e. made supercapacitor electrode containing cadmium sulfide material. Super capacitor electrode material comprising cadmium sulfide prepared according to the present invention, it overcomes the poor conductivity oxide, carbon electrode material energy density and low defects, to solve the problem of high and low density supercapacitor electrode material and energy product prices.
