The invention relates to 500 kV electrified water-washing safety detection method and device. The method comprises the following steps of: monitoring an ultraviolet image of a working waveband within the set waveband range during the electrified water washing process in real time; acquiring the value of ultraviolet photons in the ultraviolet image; and judging whether the value of ultraviolet photons is greater than or equal to the preset ultraviolet photon early-warning value, and if so, sending warning information. According to the scheme of the invention, detection is carried out by monitoring the ultraviolet image, direct contact with washed operating equipment is not needed, and the real status information of the operating equipment in the washing status can be monitored under the condition of not cutting off power and not changing the system operating status. Therefore, the safety of electrified water washing work can be effectively evaluated, and flashing accidents of electrified equipment during the electrified water washing process can be prevented.
