PHARMACY TEACHING IN BRAZIL. The present model of Pharmacy teaching, strongly attached to technicism and very little to public health and pharmaceutical care, is not preparing the professional that the society needs. Through the search of references such as curriculum concept and components, teaching models, design of professional profile and adequation of academic graduation to the social reality, it has been proposed a teaching model able to improve pharmaceutical care as an essential health professional function, filling the blanks to the present curriculum.
