Groundwater may serve as an alternative resource to cover up the demand of clean water in our country. Unfortunately, a number of contaminants that present in groundwater making it unsafe for domestic used and drinking water purpose. Therefore, it must be treated properly before it can be used and consumed. This chapter provides insights into a range of aspects associated with groundwater treatments such as dilution, filtration and aeration techniques. It potential as a drinking water source, the importance of hydro-chemical analysis and the benefits and limitations in implementing groundwater exploration are highlighted.
