The study of low dose propofol on cardiovascular responses of patients with cardiac surgery during tracheal extubation

2011
Objective To study the effect of low dose propofol on cardiovascular responses of patients with cardiac surgery during tracheal extubation. Methods A total of 60 patients with cardiac surgery were selected and divided into two groups randomly.Experimental group was treated with propofol intravenous injection before tracheal extubation.Heart rate, the values of blood pressure and PaCO2 were measured at the time of pre-intubating,extubation and post-intubating.Results There was statistically significant differences between experimental group and control group with HR,SBP and NBP,but with PaCO2 no difference. Conclusions Using low dose propofol can relieve cardiovascular responses of patients with cardiac surgery during tracheal extubation without respiratory inhibition.
