Sensor assignment method for tracking multi-targets

In the assignment of sensor resources to the problem of multi-targets tracking,the maximization of information gain is only a necessary condition rather than a sufficient condition.A new method of sensor assignment was proposed,which combines the target priority with the information gain.Quantitative methods to evaluate the influences of target distance and target velocity on the target priority were discussed.Simulation results show that the proposed method is better when it is used to assign sensor resources for multi-targets tracking.
