Design of Control System for Resistance Heating Furnace with High Precision of Temperature Control

The precision of temperature control in traditional resistance heating furnaces is bad due to the on-off control system.A temperature control system of resistance heating furnace for melting aluminum with high precision of temperature control is introduced,in which programmable logic controller(PLC) instead of temperature control instrument,and the fuzzy control algorithm with intelligent integration is used for temperature control.The practice shows that when the setting temperature is 740 ℃,the period from aluminum melting temperature(about 660 ℃) to the system stabilization is approximately 240s.The error of temperature after stabilization is about ±2 ℃,consequently the system has good reliability and high control accuracy.
