Specific heat of dipolar magnet KEr(MoO4)2 in external magnetic field

In this paper we present theoretical studies of Ising dipolar system in the paramagnetic regime. Mean-field approximation with the nearest-neighbour interaction involved in one direction has been applied. The corresponding theoretical predictions of specific heat are compared with experimental specific heat data of the title compound. The influence of further interactions is discussed.
