Síndrome hemofagocítico: a propósito de un caso

We present the case of a 50 years old woman, with a history of nodal tuberculosis properly treated at 15 years old. She was admitted to our Service with fever and laboratory abnormality, being diagnosed with hemophagocytic syndrome of unknown origin. We review the subject according to its rare entity and the importance of prompt diagnosis to avoid a fatal outcome.
