DEVELOPMENT AND UP-TO-DATE RESOURCES OF FORENSIC DIAGNOSTICS OF A KIND OF THE MAIN TRAUMATIC FACTOR WITH GUNSHOT WOUNDS

The article presents an analysis of the national and foreign literary sources concerningthe history, development of possibilities and methods of forensic diagnostics of the maintraumatic factor with gunshot wounds. The role of up-to-date digital technologies and themethod of three-dimensional spatial reconstruction of the body injuries in particular areindicated to be applied in forensic medical practice, increase of the accuracy, objectivityand obviousness of conclusions drawn by a forensic expert.Objective: to analyze the development of diagnostic methods of a kind of the maintraumatic factor with gunshot wounds in forensic medicine, to select the up-to-date andmost diagnostically valuable methods for further investigation and implementation intoexpert practical work.Conclusions. Forensic medical examination of gunshot body wounds has always been inthe center of special attention of forensic experts since the beginning of a wide use of fireweapon till nowadays. In the course of time and development of science and technologynew instrumental and laboratory methods of examination have appeared. They enabledforensic experts to solve different issues occurring in the course of forensic medicalexamination of gunshot wounds with higher accuracy. Examination of the possibilitiesof forensic medical diagnostics of a kid and characteristic of the main traumatic factorwith gunshot wounds by means of the three-dimensional spatial reconstruction is rathertopical and promising, though it still remains inadequately studied in forensic medicine.
