Improvement of Line Trip Criterion of Power System Security and Stability Control Equipment

The correct judgment of security and stability control equipment is depending on the judgment of AC transmission line trip,and thus the equipment sometimes works incorrect due to the influence of the remaining current of CT second winding which hasn't been considered in current trip criterion.This paper analyzes the influence of the remaining current,resulting in the improvement of line trip criterion and the advice for the reasonable application of the criterion.
