Reply to letter

We appreciate the letter from Dr. Feng and colleagues regarding our recent research publication.(1) The authors made insightful comments on diabetic medications. We have collected information on the use of specific classes of diabetes medications at the time of cirrhosis evaluation. As expected, a high proportion of diabetic patients were on combinations of different classes of diabetic medications. We did not observe any interactions between different classes of diabetes medications and the risk of HCC.
