Progressive essential telangiectasia: a rare disorder

2010
Summary Progressive essential telangiectasia (PET) is a rare skin disorder that affects mainly middle-age women. It is clinically characterized by the development of telangiectases which first appear on distal lower extremities and progressively spread to the trunk and upper limbs. We report a new case of PET in a 53-year-old woman. Differential diagnosis should be performed with other diseases characterized by the development of multiple telangiectasias.
