LONG-TERM STORAGE OF IgG AND IgM ON FILTER PAPER FOR USE IN PARASITIC DISEASE SEROEPIDEMIOLOGY SURVEYS'

To help investigate how long IgG and ZgM antibodies can be stored on filter paper, blood samples were obtained from 23 subjects. were stored on filter paper a’nd in three other ways for 18 months, and were periodically tested by immunofluorescence and radial immunodiffusion to determine the samples’ mean antibody concentrations and geometric mean antibody titers. The following article describes this investigation and reports its findings.
