Relaxation of metastable states near the ferroelastic phase transition in KLiSO4

1997
Abstract The relaxation of a.c. conductivity and shear modulus of KLiSO4 in a region of their thermal hysteresis near the ferroelastic phase transition at 438°C has been studied. The nature of metastable states in a vicinity of phase transition is supposed to be the interaction between interphase boundaries and mobile point defects.
