Introduction : in Burkina Faso, doctors' insufficiency internists, of endocrinologists, and specialized medical services in the coverage of the diabetes, make that the general practitioners and the paramedical staff are relegated to the first one. Objectives: study the level of knowledge, attitudes and practices of the medical and paramedical staff on the coverage of the diabetes sweetened in the CHU SS of Bobo Dioulasso. Method: it was about a transverse study of descriptive type, unwound over three (03) months, from March 1st till May 31st, 2013. The investigated population was constituted by healthcare professionals represented by the general practitioners, the female nurse, the State-certified male nurses, the patented male nurses of the TEACHING HOSPITAL of Bobo Dioulasso. A questionnaire was administered to the willing staff adapted to the professional categoryA bar of notation allowed to appreciate the level of knowledge, attitude and practice of the staff regarding sweet diabetes. Results: three hundred four (304) agents of health among whom 187 men (sex ratio = 1.59) were investigated. Their mean age was of 40.84 years with extremes of 26 and 60 years. Their level of knowledge, attitude and practice on the sweet diabetes was variable of a category professional in an other one .So, the clinical signs of the disease, as well as its physiopathology were well known by the agents of health However, the definition of the disease, its diagnostic criteria, its classification by cause, were little known general practitioners. The general practitioners, had a good attitude and practice in front of a case of diabetes sweetened with regard to compared with the other professional
