Clinical Summary on Boiling Powder in Treatment of Infantile Diarrhea

Objective: To observe the effect of Chinese herbal medicine boiling powder in the treatment of infantile diarrhea. Methods: A multi-center study was carried out. In 3 centers,according to the visiting sequence,the children were randomly divided into treatment group and control group. On the basis of conventional therapy,the treatment group according to TCM syndrome differentiation used the boiling powder decoction and the control group was given Smecta orally. Results: The average hospitalization days,the cure rate of fourth days and fifth days,appetite normal rate of fourth days and fifth days in the treatment group were better than those of the control group and the difference was significant. Conclusion: The Chinese herbal medicine boiling powder in treatment of infantile diarrhea has better clinical efficacy.
