Commissions and experiments of soft X-ray magnetic circular dichroism beamline
2005
The beamline and the endstation dedicated to soft X-ray absorption supported by Phase II Project of National Synchrotron Radiation Laboratory have been completed. The monochromatic X-ray light can be provided between 100 to 1000 eV, and its flux is over 108 photons/s with a resolving power of 1000 at 1000 eV by using a plane varied-line-space grating monochromator. A focus spot of 3mm in horizontal by 1mm in vertical is obtained. A soft X-ray magnetic circular dichroic spectrum of iron film and near edge absorption spectra of K edges of C, N, O elements have been measured.
