SPIN FILTER FOR CONTINUOUS PERFUSION OF SUSPENSION CELLS

Abstract Retention rate and fouling tendency of rotating wire cages (10, 20, 40 μm) were investigated at different surface velocities and fluid flow patterns. A model system based on latex beads and perfusion experiments with hybridoma cells were applied for the optimization of stirred tank perfusion bioreactors.
