Low alloy cast steel

The invention relates to a low-alloy cast steel, in particular to a cast steel which can satisfy the clipping requirements of the high speed multiple unit train brakes with the speed of more than 200km/h. The chemical composition of the cast steel adopts the proportion than carbon occupies 0.26 to 0.31 percent, silicon occupies 0.20 to 0.60 percent, manganese occupies 0.85 to 1.20 percent, phosphorus occupies 0.03 percent or less, sulfur occupies 0.03 percent or less, nickel occupies 0.50 to 0.70 percent, vanadium occupies 0.13 to 0.16 percent, the content of the residual elements occupies 0.30 percent or less, and the residual is iron. The cast steel has the advantages that the composition can be easily controlled, the alloy addition is less, the production cost is lower, the smelting technology is simple, the weldability is good, the cracking trend is small, the casting processing property is excellent, and therefore the cast steel is favorable to the industrial application.
