Field Straightening Shaft for HP-IP Rotor of 300MW Steam Turbine with Combined Casing

As one of the largest rotors in our country,the HP-IP rotor of 300MW turbine is difficult to be straigthened due to its big diameter and long span.The paper presents the successful experience of HP-IP turbine shaft straightening,with an advanced stress relaxation method using the transportable correcting axle equipment by NCERPI,for No.6 turbo-generator set on site,which has achieved much cost-effectiveness with short duration of maintenance.
