Active Optical Routing Assignment Algorithm for Relay Protection Services in Smart Grid Communications

Relay protection service plays a very important role in smart grid communications. When the service fails, it will lead to serious consequences. However, currently manual driven operation may cost a long time to recovery the communication network. Therefore, an active optical routing assignment algorithm is proposed in this paper. Through experimental simulation and comparison with KSP algorithm, which is very common in routing allocation, the results show that the algorithm proposed in this paper has better performance in dual-routing allocation, and can better allocate dual routes for relay protection service.
