In this article authors consider the problem of use conclusion and depositions of authority as independent form of evidence. Exposing the theme authors deal with to articles of leading Russian criminalists and trailers, who have done much in the development of criminal trial science of our country. Not analyzing current legislation, authors consistensing refrace the development of the institute of «authority» criminal-trial law in our country, persist on their view, according to which using conclusion and depositions of authority as independent form of evidence is undoubtedly possible.
