Absorption of Phosphorus in Corn-pepper Intercropping System

Qiannuo maize 768 and Dangwu Huaxi pepper were used as materials to explore the corresponding rules of phosphorus(P) absorption.The randomized block experiment was conducted in field with two factors,including row ratio of intercropping between maize and chili(2∶4,2∶6,2∶8) and nitrogen(N) gradients(160,260,360 kg/hm2).The results showed that the absorption of P content can be improved by added nitrogen.At the same level of 360 kg/hm2 nitrogen,P contents of maize in the treatments with row ratio of 2∶4 and 2∶6 were respectively 3.8% and 4.2% higher than that of monocropping corn afer 100 days;on the other hand,P content in pepper in three intercropping treatments(2∶4,2∶6,2∶8) was respectively 14.5%,11.7%,and 5.5% higher than that of monocropping pepper.Thus,at the same nitrogen level,P content of maize and pepper in intercropping system was respectively higher than those of monocropping counterparts.
