Hydroa vacciniforme Treated by a Combination of Beta-Carotene and Canthaxanthin

Hydroa vacciniforme is a very rare photodermatosis, commencing in childhood and belonging to the category of idiopathic burns. The inconstancy of the therapeutic results raises the possibility of a clinical syndrome than can have different origins. We present a case that responded very well to carotenoids.
