Breast Cancer Presenting with Cutaneous Metastasis—a Rare Entity

2021
Cutaneous metastasis is a rare clinical finding with an incidence of around 0.7 to 10% and breast cancer accounts for 33% of all cases. A 50-year postmenopausal lady presented to surgical OPD with multiple skin lesions over the breast and lower abdomen for 2 months. Skin lesion and breast lump biopsy proved it to be metastatic lesion from breast cancer. Therefore, a high index of suspicion is required for the diagnosis of a cutaneous metastatic lesion as the presentation maybe confusing and elusive.
