Determination of the Position Using Receivers Installed in UAV

One of the tasks of navigation is precise positioning. The accuracy of a GNSS receiver installed in unmanned aerial vehicles guarantees the accomplishment of their mission. Many drones have dual GNSS receiver with coverage from both GPS and GLONASS giving additional satellites and full coverage regardless of where you are on Earth, but for tasks requiring high accuracy drones with an installed RTK system are used. Precise positioning of one centimeter vertically and horizontally allows creating flight routes that feedback reliable visual data which can prove to be necessary in research projects and commercial scenarios. The article presents an analysis of the accuracy of GNSS positioning using receivers mounted on board UAVs.
