PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress accumulation of fatigue of equipment etc., when an inverter circuit is placed in a three-phase short-circuit state. SOLUTION: In a hybrid automobile 20, when the inverter 43 to which phase short-circuit abnormality has occurred is in the three-phase short circuit state, a threshold Vref1 as a lower-limit value and a threshold Vref2 as an upper-limit value of a resonance generation vehicle speed region where rear axles 69a and 69b and a motor MG3 resonate to generate vibrations are set, and a value 1 is added to a damage counter C when a vehicle speed detected by a vehicle speed sensor 88 is in the set resonance generation vehicle speed region. When it is decided that the damage counter C is larger than a threshold Cref, rear-side equipment etc., such as a motor MG3 determines a state wherein fatigue due to vibrations should not be accumulated any more, limits request torque so that the vehicle speed V does not exceed the threshold Vref1, and controls the engine 22 and motor MG1 and MG2 to make a travel with the request torque having been limited.
