CBH2 cellulases variants of Hypocrea jecorina

Cellulase variant CBH2 derived from a precursor protein by substitution in a position corresponding to residue S316 in the mature sequence of CBH2 from Hypocrea jecorina, wherein the residue S316 in the mature sequence of CBH2 from Hypocrea jecorina corresponding to residue S340 in Figure 1, and wherein the variant has increased thermostability compared to the precursor protein.
