The invention discloses an air conditioning system adopting thermoelectric refrigeration as an assistant and capable of independently controlling temperature and humidity. Heat exchangers and thermoelectric refrigeration chips are arranged in an air handling tail end and arranged in sequence from an inlet to an outlet, an output end of a low-temperature cold source is connected with the input end of a control valve, the output end of the control valve is connected with the input ends of the heat exchangers, the output ends of the heat exchangers are connected with the input end of the low-temperature cold source, a refrigeration chip controller is connected with the thermoelectric refrigeration chips by leads and controls the thermoelectric refrigeration chips. The air conditioning system has a simple structure, can realize independent control on the temperature and humidity of air, effectively saves energy consumption and achieves the purpose of fast adjusting the comfortable indoor environment.
