The Discussion on Economic and Social Spatial Database of Jiangshu Province

With the increasing complexity of economic and social issues as well as the application of geospatial information technologies,the management of economic and social resources is promoted to combine with geo-spatial datasets.To develop integrated geo-spatial database of social and economic resources,it serving the decision-making of e-governance at all levels.For this purpose we have designed the framework of this integrated database for Jiangsu province and developed an application platform.A detailed exposition and practical solutions are given to the key and difficult problems for constructing this integrated database.Such an integrated database provides a geo-spatial platform for managing the economic and social resources,and thus increases the efficiency of decision-making for governance.
