Porous proplant and method for its fabrication

2007
FIELD: oil and gas industry. SUBSTANCE: porous proplant for extraction of oil and gas by method of hydraulic break of bed is employed in form of granules with pycnometer density 1.0- 3.0 g/cm 3 and sizes of 0.2-0.4 mm made out of powdered material and binding. Powdered material is a mixture of combined milling of silica-alumina raw material and pore former. Binding is a water suspension of organic binding and pore former. The method of producing porous proplants incorporates preliminary burning of silica-alumina raw material, combined binding of burned silica-alumina raw material and pore former, granulating of received mixture with addition of binding in a mixer-granulator with a rotor mixer; at that linear speed of rotation of mixer blades is varied depending on a granulation stage; then there follow drying, dressing, burning in a rotating furnace at the temperature of 900-1500°C and linear speed of rotation in the furnace 0.0015-0.003 m/sec, cooling, dressing for commodity fractions. The invention is developed in dependant claims of the formula. EFFECT: facilitating low pycnometric density at maintaining sufficient mechanical strength. 15 cl, 58 ex, 1 tbl
