The Sylvia and Charles Viertel Charitable Foundation: a decade of support for medical research in Australia.

The Sylvia and Charles Viertel Charitable Foundation (http://www.alfredresearch.orgexternalviertel.htm) recently celebrated its first decade of support for medical research in Australia. Its contribution to Australian medical research has centred on support of outstanding young people through Senior Medical Research Fellowships and a unique grant-in-aid programme for clinical investigators.
