Juicio clínico, juicio técnico y juicio moral
2019
In this paper I argue that, due to the internal demands of medicine, good clinical judgments cannot be only technically correct judgments but must, simultaneously, be morally right judgments. Henceforth, medical education cannot be limited to scientific instruction and technical training, but necessarily requires formation in medical virtues. Virtues provide the physician with the practical competence to perceive spontaneously and accurately the particular good for this particular patient in these specific circumstances.
