Zinc-aluminum-magnesium alloy for hot galvanizing and manufacturing method of zinc-aluminum-magnesium alloy

2015
The invention discloses a zinc-aluminum-magnesium alloy for hot galvanizing and a manufacturing method of the zinc-aluminum-magnesium alloy. Chemical components of the zinc-aluminum-magnesium ternary hot galvanizing alloy include 1.4%-2.0% of Al, 1.4%-2.1% of Mg, 0.001%-0.015% of Fe, smaller than 0.008% of Pb, smaller than 0.010% of Cd, smaller than 0.008% of Cu, smaller than 0.008% of Sn and the balance zinc. A zinc ingot is melted at the temperature ranging from 490 DEG C to 520 DEG C, then a zinc-aluminum-magnesium intermediate alloy is added, stirring is conducted for 10 min to 15 min, after standing is conducted for 10 min-15 min, surface dross is removed, and the ingot is cast afterwards. The obtained zinc-aluminum-magnesium hot galvanizing alloy has the beneficial effects of being uniform in component, small in impurity content and low in manufacturing cost, and the requirement for production of high-corrosion-resistance and high-surface-quality zinc-aluminum-magnesium alloy coated plate belts can be met.
