Exploring Firm Performance through GSCM Practices and Institutional Pressure: The Manufacturing Sector of Pakistan

This research has aimed to examine the effects of environmental orientation, supplier integration, customer integration and institutional pressure towards GSCM practices that has also been investigated towards economic and environmental performance. The quantitative approach had been applied in this research for data collection through purposive sampling. The analysis was conducted based on 179 sample responses and PLS-SEM analysis technique using SmartPLS 3.2.8 was adopted. The results has showed that customer integration has a positive and critical impact on GSCM rehearses. The natural direction has a positive and huge impact on GSCM rehearses. The GSCM rehearses has a positive and huge impact on monetary execution. The GSCM rehearses has a positive and critical impact on natural execution. The institutional pressure has a positive and insignificant effect on GSCM practices. The supplier integration has a positive and significant effect on GSCM practices. This analysis has realistic consequences for organizations and policymakers in the context of the aforementioned discussion. To overcome strict institutional pressures combined with an expansion in client interest, organizations need to improve their aptitudes to screen and manage the ecological presentation of their tasks.
