UMA CONTRIBUIÇÃO METODOLÓGICA DA TEORIA DOS JOGOS PARA A RESOLUÇÃO DE CONFLITOS SOCIOESPACIAIS: PENSANDO NA CIDADE DE CAMPINA GRANDE - PB

2018
Human needs are at the core of conflicts. Therefore, the conflicts intrinsic to production and use of urban land are essential in the dynamics of the transformation of cities. Thus, in order to assist in the resolution of socio-spatial conflicts, this paper aims to present a theoretical and methodological analysis of the Game Theory, since it can be a feasible instrument to assist local urban planning. In order to achieve it, the exploratory-descriptive method was used which was performed through bibliographical research and direct observation that started from the dynamic context of a local reality, Campina Grande city-PB, highlighting its conflicts around the socio-spatial dynamics. It was observed that in spite of the limitations of the theoretical hypotheses adopted throughout this work, the Game Theory is an instrumental subsidy that makes possible to walk towards a feasible resolution of urban conflicts, and it can be used to assist in the construction of an appropriate urban planning that assists in urban management in the midst of the limited availability of resources and the unlimited demands of society, based on the assumption of maximum cooperation between the three main participants in the urban dynamics (Companies - Public Power - Population), which, at the same time, have distinct and also unusual and common interests around land use and occupation.
