EXPERIMENTS ON THE ARTIFICIAL FRY REARING OF THREEBAND SWEETLIP PLECTORHINCHUS CINCTUS

Experiments on the artificial fry rearing and intermediate'breeding at sea cage were made by using 95 × 104 fertilized eggs of threeband sweetlip Plectorhinchus cinctus introduced from Xiamen, Fujian. The hatch rate of fertilized eggs was 67, 8 % . A total of 21.1 × 104 fry with total length of 2. 3cm were obtained after 56 days of indoor rearing. The survival rate reached 83.7% after the captivity at sea cage to total length of 5.77cm.
