Studies on genetic variability in garden pea (Pisum sativum L.) using morphological traits and seed protein profiling.

2018
The present investigation was conducted with 30 genotypes of garden pea during Rabi season 2016-17 at Vegetable Research Farm, College of Horticulture and Forestry, Central Agricultural University, Pasighat Arunachal Pradesh. The experiment was laid out in Randomized Complete Block Design with three replications. Genetic variability was studied for different characters. Data were analyzed statistically for phenotypic and genotypic variance, coefficient of variation, heritability, genetic advance, genetic gain, correlation coefficient, path coefficient, genetic divergence and seed protein banding pattern.
