A Case of Acquired Secondary Syphilis in Early Infancy

A 12-month-old girl had erythemas and papules on the vulva and perianal for nearly a month.Dermatological examination showed that red flat plaque and papule on her vulva and perianal.The perianal skin lesions were covered by grey-white secretion.The Rapid Plasma Reagin(RPR) and Treponema Pallidum Particle Assay(TPPA) were negative in May,5 months later both RPR and TPPA were positive.Diagnosis:Acquired secondary syphilis in early infancy.Patient was intravenously given penicillin soudium for 2 treatment courses.
