The present invention provides a lubricating device for a frictional engagement device (B1) is provided, which brings a rotating member (R) having a housing (9) into engagement, wherein the lubricating device connected to said rotary member hub (2), between the hub and the housing arranged friction elements (3), a hydraulic servo (4) for engagement of the friction elements, and an oil passage L for supplying a lubricant from the housing to the friction elements. A supply port of the oil passage Le is formed on a radially inner side of the friction elements in the direction of its axis. The supply port Le is aligned with the friction elements out. A locking element (5) for limiting the lubricant loss by a space between the hub and the friction elements in the direction of the axis is arranged on the other side of the friction elements in the direction of the axis. Therefore, it can be prevented by a non-contact limit losses which generates no resistance, that the radially inner side of the friction elements supplied lubricant from escaping in the axial direction. The radially outward flow of oil through the interior of the friction elements is ensured, and the friction elements can be cooled reliably despite caused by the slip control of the frictional engagement means of heat.
