The patients, undergoing a radical operative procedure for cancer of a large intestine, belong basically to the elderly age group. At a certain age patients have a high risk of development of cardiac complications during operation, fi rst because of presence of an accompanying pathology. Inclusion in the protocol of light general anesthesia constant infusion of Dalargin has allowed to lower an expression of reaction of hemodynamics on operational stress and, hence, to lower risk of development of cardiac complications, fi rst of all acute myocardial infarction and fatal disturbances of the rhythm.
