The present invention is an automatic identification method based on visual inspection of the conduit, comprising the steps of: using a multi-purpose vision testing equipment to obtain physical detection of geometrical data of the catheter; catheter conduit of the three-dimensional theoretical model sample library geometrical analysis is performed to obtain a catheter tube shaped geometry; geometric data of a tubular conduit traversing the model, respectively, matched with the detection of the physical geometry of the catheter, automatically according to certain matching tolerance parameter; pipe model determines the catheter tubing sample corresponding to the physical library identification information and the identification information is attached to the catheter conduit kind of physical identification is completed. The present invention is such that the operation of production site worker may directly acquire the management information of the physical part of the catheter according to the multicast vision inspection results, and generating the bar code attached to the physical part conduit, greatly reduce the difficulty of identifying the line kind of parts.
