Medicamentul homeopatic în legislaţia farmaceutică europeană

Homeopathy is a therapeutic method, which consists in administering to the sick man, a drug capable of causing in healthy body a morbid condition similar or identical to the symptoms of his illness. Any pharmaceutical product in the European Union, either allopathic or homeopathic, is authorized through several procedures under Community legislation in force. Only those drugs that have been granted a marketing authorization can be marketed in the European Economic Area. Homeopathy as a distinct therapeutic system is recognized by law in countries from the European Community, and in the European Union there is a legislation governing homeopathic medicine and there are efforts from those involved to find solutions for its harmonization.
