The assessment of retroperitoneum is of utmost importance in the management of patients with testicular germ cell tumours (TGCTs). Surgery is often the preferred option for patients with nonseminoma, normal serum markers, no distant metastasis, and low volume retroperitoneal disease. We analyzed the results of retroperitoneal ultrasound for its ability to exclude bulky disease.
