Особенности формирования системы международных отношений на постсоветском пространстве: непризнанные государства

This article is devoted to analysis of the phenomenon of the unrecognized states of the post-Soviet space. According to the authors this phenomenon appeared as a result of the structural transformation of the Westphalian system of international relations and world order that was established after the Second World War. In this article the definition of the unrecognized states is giving. The authors analyze the reasons and a historical background of the appearance of these states on the post-Soviet space. The special attention is paid to the formation and development of the international contacts between unrecognized states and its influence on the international processes. As an example of the post-Soviet unrecognized states the authors regard the Republic of Abkhazia and the Republic of South Ossetia taking into account the special part of Russian Federation in its formation and recognition. The authors conclude that the events of 2008 (recognition of the Kosovo independence and the Georgian war) became the key factors for the further development of these states. These events gave a start of the structural transformation of the system of international relations at all and the subsystem of the post-Soviet space particularly.
