The article consists of a historical study about the premises, antecedents and historical evolution of the ethical and civic training of the reserve potential graduated from the pedagogical school of Las Tunas, up to the present time. It is based on the need to inquire about the subject in order to offer a socio-historical contextualization that supports studies in this field. This study is part of the history of the Directorate of educational processes, with emphasis on the aforementioned training, in which the successive relationships, transformations and trends of this process are analyzed from the scientific-technological perspective and in interaction with other aspects of the culture. During the research process, the historical and logical method and the experiential method were used, from which it was possible to obtain key information about the behavior of said process.
