Method and device for measuring the amount of charge flowing into the void.

1995
This invention relates to a method for measuring for each time a unit amount of electric charge through a vacuum volume area in a defined direction (x), wherein the particles carrying the load are sensed by means of one (10) sensor means connected to a measuring circuit for a galvanic current, and the galvanic current generated by capture is measured in the circuit (17). In the direction (x), the capture of the particles is carried out simultaneously and in cascade. The invention also relates to a measuring device comprising a sensor device disposed in the vacuum and connected to a galvanic current measuring circuit. The sensor device includes sensors (10a to 10c) arranged in cascade in the direction (x) and performing a simultaneous measurement. The invention finally relates to the use of the method and measuring device.
