Study on the clinical significance of Transcriptional coactivator with PDZ-binding motif and expression in Osteosarcoma
2019
Objective
To analyze the clinical significance of Transcriptional coactivator with PDZ-binding motif (TAZ) and thymidine kinase 1 (TK1) in osteosarcoma tissue,
Methods
73 cases of osteosarcoma tissues. and 23 cases of osteochondroma tissues of patients treatment performed and pathologically confirmed from February 2013 to April 2019 on Zhengzhou Central Hospital Affiliated to Zhengzhou University, the Third Affiliated Hospital of Zhengzhou University and The First Affiliated Hospital of Zhengzhou University were collected, the expression of TAZ and TK1 proteins in osteosarcoma tissues and osteochondroma tissues were detected by using immunohistochemical method.
Results
The expression rate of TAZ was 61.64% (45/73) in Osteosarcoma tissues, and 17.39% (4/23) in osteochondroma tissues (t=13.706, P<0.05), the expressions of TAZ were related to eneeking stage and lung metastasis of osteosarcoma (Respectively, t=5.421, 7.132, P<0.05); the expression rate of TK1 was 80.82% (59/73) in osteosarcoma tissues, and 13.04% (3/23) in osteochondroma tissues (t=35.127, P<0.01), the expressions of TK1 were related to Eneeking stage, soft tissue involvement and lung metastasis of osteosarcoma (Respectively, t=7.808, 5.988, 6.619, P<0.05).
Conclusion
TAZ and TK1 can be used as diagnostic index to evaluate the prognosis of patiemts with Osteosarcoma.
